    Please, enter day, month, and year of birth.

    When entering a year, you can usually omit the two first digits of the year number. E.g., a year value "79" will be interpreted as "1979".

    Birth Time Entry

    Please select the hour of birth in the hour field, and enter the minute (between 00 and 59) in the minute field.

    The time must be given in wrist watch time, as it would have been shown on a normal person's wrist watch at the place of the birth event. All necessary corrections for time zone or daylight saving time are applied by the computer automatically.

    Birth Town Entry

    Please, enter the birth town (not the place where you live!). Often, it is also sufficient to enter the first few letters of the name of the place.

    After clicking on the "continue" button, please check if the birth town field displays the correct place. It may happen that our computer finds several places of same or similar name. In such cases you have to select the correct place from the pulldown list.

    If the birth town required is not found in our database, please choose a greater town or city close to the place you would have wanted. To do this, first choose the entry "go to new place selection" in the birth town selection box and click on the "continue" button. Then you can enter a new place name.

    Required precision of birth location

    If birth time is precise to +- 1 minute, the birth location does not have to be more precise than 15 km or 10 miles, without loosing precision of the chart. If birth time is known only with a precision of 5 minutes, location does not have to be more precise than 75 km or 50 miles. It makes absolutely no sense to aim for exact street location, unless the birth time is known to the second, which is never the case.

    How to change an incorrect birth place

    - getting born again is a good possibility ;-) but there are others:
    - Click on the link "other town" which is placed on the right hand side of your presently chosen birth place (above the "continue" button).
    - Now you can enter the new city name and press the "continue" button as usual.

    If you activate this checkbox, enter a valid date and a place, and click the "continue" button, a time zone worldmap will be shown at the bottom of the next screen. The birth place will be marked on the map and information will be given about the Universal Time and the time zone of the place for the given birth date and time.

    When you click on the time zone map image, an extensive help page will appear which explains more details of the time zone map, and reveals some secrets for special data entry requirements. Please try it out.

    Manual Time zone Selection 
    Usually, it is not necessary and not recommended to select the time zone manually, because this computer program knows which time zones apply to which places for what times, and has complete information about daylight saving time.

    In some very rare cases a user may have better information about time zones and daylight saving time than the database used here. For example, there are areas of doubt for some years in Vietnam, and for many parts of the former Soviet Union.

    In such cases it may be necessary to select a manual time zone in the pull-down list. To return to automatic time zone, please select the top item in the list.

    Gender of your partner in single-person horoscopes
    The text of all horoscopes is worded according to the gender you have entered in the data entry form. In all partner horoscopes, the computer knows the gender of both partners, and therefore chooses the correct wording for partner references.

    Some text in single-person horoscopes contains partner references, too. The default setting of the computer assumes that your partner is of the opposite sex. You can change this setting so that all partner references are worded according to a relationship with a person of the same gender.

    To do this, please use the checkbox next to this glyph. If you activate this checkbox, all partner references will be set to 'partner of the same gender'.

    This setting will be kept permanently in your natal data record on this server. It affects all available single-person horoscopes in which your partner is mentioned in a gender-dependent way. The setting also extends to orders via Astroshop. For example, there is a chapter 'Relationship Patterns' in the Psychological Horoscope, which will then automatically choose the correct wording for your partner's gender.

    The special setting we have discussed here is effective only for single-person horoscopes. It has no function in two-person horoscopes where the actual gender of both partners is known.
