Biography

American gymnast who competed in eight events at the 1964 Summer Olympics. Mitchell was the coach at both the 1974 World Championships and the 1973 Universiade. He also became a men’s vice-president of USA Gymnastics. He died on 25 February 2023 at age 80 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
