Grand Duchess of Russia (1882) Olga

Biography

Russian royalty, the last surviving child of Czar Alexander III, sister of the deposed Czar Nicholas II.

She married Duke Peter Alexandrovich of Oldenburg, widely believed to be homosexual, on 9 August 1901. The marriage was never consummated and was later annulled in 1916.

She was introduced to a commoner, Nikolai Kulikovsky, by her brother Michael in 1903, and eventually married him. They had two children, and escaped Bolshevik Russia in 1919, first living in Denmark, and then to Canada.

She died the same year as her sister Xenia, in Toronto, Ontario on 24 November 1960.
