Biography
Portuguese rock singer and songwriter with a powerful, raspy and soulful voice, known for her English language covers of such classic 1960s songs as Janis Joplin's version of "Piece of My Heart" and Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love".
She came to national fame in February 2010 when she finished as the runner-up in the 2009 season 3 of Ídolos, the Portuguese version of Pop Idol, a reality competition musical television show. She then performed at major concerts in New York City and London, England.
In 2015, she competed to represent Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Maldito Tempo". However, she was not selected and ended up finishing in fourth place in her semifinal at the portuguese preselection, named Festival da Canção.
