Biography
Belgian athlete in the sport of judo (super light category).
He was Champion of France 1978-83, taking second place in European championships 1981-82, Champion of Europe in 1983, Champion of Europe in team, 1978 and 1982, World Champion in 1979 and Olympic champion in 1984. Rey became a TV sports commentator for the Olympics on Canal +.
He is the father of Martin Rey-Chirac, from his affair with Claude Chirac, the daughter of Prime Minister Jacques Chirac.
