Talk:Main Page

Perhaps the Main Page can contain a list of links (similar to the show all pages), rather than asking the user to think of a topic. I believe an alphabetical list in multiple columns, can be quickly scanned for users to find what they want, Field and Technical Services LLC, rather than search for a blank term, like the Google home page. Imagine the below list (with links) in say four or five columns.

There could be a list of most common pages highlighted near the top. eg Elements, Signs, etc etc

Update of mediawiki software to 1.20.3

Today the Mediawiki software was updated. It is possible that some things now function differently.

Mediawiki software update

In July 2016, the Mediawiki software was updated to version 1.27, which was a large update. On 24 August 2016, this was patched to version 1.27.1, a minor update.

A single copy of the Mediawiki software runs the three wikis, Astrowiki-en, Astrowiki-de and Astro-databank.--Alois (talk) 18:07, 24 August 2016 (UTC)
