Biography

Polish poet and Catholic priest. He was a chief Polish representative of contemporary religious lyrics. He wrote short, simple poems, humorous, which often included colloquialisms. He joined observations of nature with philosophical reflections.

He died 18 January 2006.

Twenty-first of June (Fourth of July) 1915 years at six in the evening appeared Jan Twardowski, a railway clerk [...] we reported a male infant, announcing that it was born in his house of residence of the nineteenth of May (the first of June) the same year two in the afternoon " reported by Mirosław Czylek.
